Coordinates of Integers in All Four Quadrants
New Activity (No Rating Yet)

Activity Description
In this worksheet, students will practice identifying the coordinates of points plotted on a scatter plot. Students will receive 15 random points spread across the four quadrants in a coordinate plane. As they identify the coordinates of each point, they can see the points changing from red to green, making the activity more engaging. Each student will receive a different set of coordinates, helping to avoid cheating.
Key Features:
- Auto-Graded: This interactive digital worksheet is auto-graded, eliminating the need for teachers to evaluate it manually, making it an excellent practice activity.
- Unique Questions: Each student will receive a unique set of 15 points to promote individual practice and understanding.
- Re-Assignable: Re-assigning the worksheet to the same classroom will generate a new set of questions for each student.
Common Core Math -
Number System
Solve real-world and mathematical problems by graphing points in all four quadrants of the coordinate plane. Include use of coordinates and absolute value to find distances between points with the same first coordinate or the same second coordinate.
Common Core Math -
Number System
Understand signs of numbers in ordered pairs as indicating locations in quadrants of the coordinate plane; recognize that when two ordered pairs differ only by signs, the locations of the points are related by reflections across one or both axes.
Common Core Math -
Number System
Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates.
